10 Essential Marvel Teams Not Yet Used In The Movies

1. Young Avengers

The Avengers' most iconic legacy team, the Young Avengers were founded by the time-travelling Iron Lad, revealed to be the young Kang the Conqueror, who wanted to thwart his older counterpart and save the world.

Bringing together a new team after the disbandment of the Avengers, Iron Lad recruited Patriot, grandson of the first black Captain America; Wiccan and Speed, the twin sons of the Scarlet Witch; the half-Skrull Hulkling, son of Mar-Vell; as well as Stature, daughter of Scott Lang's Ant-Man (already introduced in the MCU); and the rich heiress combat expert taking on the Hawkeye mantle.

This iteration of Young Avengers is the perfect future team to take over, their own comics tackling real life issues with a youthful fervour and modern sensibilities not seen in their older counterparts. The relationship between Wiccan and Hulkling would also make for the perfect introduction of LGBTQ+ characters to the MCU's films, a step that hasn't yet been taken in Disney's big blockbusters.

With the age of heroes begun by Iron Man seemingly coming to an end with Infinity War, a new age, with deference to those who came before, is something fans are looking forward to, now more than ever.
