10. Domesticated Raptors - Jurassic World

The Moment: When the movie's Big Bad, the Indominus Rex (presumably) attacks, dinosaur trainer Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) unleashes a fleet of domesticated velociraptors to help bring the beastie down. Why It's Going To Suck: Because in a movie that otherwise seems to be taking itself relatively seriously, this plot point just sounds utterly ludicrous. Plus, the sight of Pratt riding a bike with his dino buddies in tow is just impossible to look at with a completely straight face. If Pratt and the raptors were collectively running away from the D-Rex as many originally hypothesised, then it would just about pass muster, but new footage pretty much confirms the worst. ...And The Rest Of The Movie?: Expectations have definitely been lowered by the trailers put out so far, but even so, it would have to go drastically wrong to be less entertaining than either The Lost World or Jurassic Park 3. Expect an adequate three-star dino movie and be pleasantly surprised if it's any better.
