It has been established long ago that the majority of Quentin Tarantino’s movies are set within the same cinematic universe. There are many telltale signs of this, one of the biggest of which is the director's use of fictional product placement.

Most blockbuster movies feature product placement in some way, shape, or form, but Tarantino found a way to make it his own.

In the opening scene of Pulp Fiction, Pumpkin lights up a Red Apple, the same brand Butch buys after his meeting with Marsellus, Mia smokes in Jack Rabbit Slim's, and is featured in the likes of From Dusk Til Dawn, Four Rooms, Kill Bill, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Similarly, when Jules and Vincent pay Brett and co. a visit, the soon-to-be slaughtered men are eating a Big Kahuna Burger for breakfast. Again, this brand can also be seen in Reservoir Dogs, From Dusk Til Dawn, Four Rooms, and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Clearly, Pulp Fiction went some way to building a shared universe that would still be paying off almost 30 years after its release.
