Captain America: New World Order - 10 Supervillains Who Could Appear

After Cain Marko stumbled upon the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, he was transformed into a human Juggernaut. Because he has a deep-rooted hatred for his stepbrother, Charles Xavier, Juggernaut has vowed to destroy Professor X and his X-Men.

With Juggernaut being a classic X-Men foe, the dome-helmeted supervillain has never encountered Steve Rogers in the comics. So, why would he show up in the latest Captain America sequel?

Even though this seems like a long shot, there’s evidence to suggest Juggernaut may make an appearance. You see, fans have theorised the film’s subtitle, New World Order, is a direct reference to an organisation founded by the Red Skull in the comics. This terrorist group had many supervillain members, including Piecemeal, Absorbing Man, Mentallo, and of course, Juggernaut. Because he is literally unstoppable, having Sam Wilson battling Juggers would be an awesome way to show he has what it takes to carry Steve Rogers’ legacy.

Also, implementing Juggernaut in this film would be a subtle way to incorporate X-Men characters slowly but surely, rather than dumping all of them into the MCU at the same time in the inevitable X-Men reboot.
