5. Batman: Hush
Adapted from the 2002-03 comic series of the same name, 2019's Batman: Hush had the advantage straight away of working from one of the top graphic novels in the Caped Crusader's back catalogue. Along with Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, and Reign of the Supermen, this is the third 2019 installment in the DC Animated Movie Universe.
Though the story is centered around the titular villain, the list of Batman rogues to make an appearance is almost unending, from Catwoman, Bane, and the Riddler, to Harley Quinn, the Joker, and Scarecrow. Voiced by an impressive cast, the sheer amount of characters alone allows even those less familiar with the comics to connect to the movie.
Despite making some major changes from the source material, swapping out characters and actually changing the identity of Batman's new enemy, the film maintains a compelling, multi-layered story that, spread over just 81 minutes, is a joy to take in.
