Noel Gallagher's Freaky Teeth Isn't Title Track of James Bond's SKYFALL

Former Oasis man denies that his unproduced track will be used as the main theme to the 23rd James Bond movie.

Update: Just as I was typing this news, IGN have updated their post with a denial from Noel Gallagher's official blog (via MI:6) so we can probably disrepute The Sun's claims on the Indiana Jones like sequence too. One might say they made up the story after hearing of the film's title... A huge pinch of salt as this news comes from The Sun newspaper (who have about a 0.5 out of 10 success rate on stories like these) but the British tabloid claims that Noel Gallagher is to meet with Bond producer Michael G. Wilson in Los Angeles soon to discuss the former Oasis man providing the title track to the currently filming Skyfall. Apparently the Bond producers have become interested in using the already written song Freaky Teeth (no, it's not in relation to loveable Bond villain Jaws) which " has been played a few times at gigs but never released." Here's the song. Does it sound as Bondish to you as it sure does to me... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0d5cucXDNE&feature=player_embedded The Sun also claims that Bond will be flying via Richard Branson's Virgin Atlantic as he has done in the last couple of movies, though Richard Branson is not expected to cameo this time as he did in Quantum of Solace. Remember it's deals like this that it's claimed fund at least 25% of the budget of these Bond films (such as the watch, clothes and car deals)... which is why the Bond films often feel like commercials. And finally, the newspaper claim Skyfall will have a scene inspired by The Temple of Doom;
"Sam Mendes will pay homage to the Indiana Jones rope bridge battles. 007 will have it out with a villain on a rickety affair like in Temple Of Doom."
Owner Robin Malcolm has spoken to the press yet again to report that the production team behind James Bond 23 Skyfall are making other arrangements and will not used the castle for 007's visit to Scotland this time around. Around 200 cast and crew were expected to descend on the castle in February for filming. Malcolm told STV: "I particularly feel sorry for hoteliers and tradesmen in the area who were looking forward to a prosperous New Year. For myself I am very sorry I won't see Judi Dench. "For the past three months they have been sending people up here in increasing numbers to look around. Last time we had 50 people having lunch in our kitchen." "I think they would like to keep a Scottish dimension in the film, but where they do that is up to them." Meanwhile there's some sad news for the owners of Duntrune Castle up in Argyll. We reported last month that the Bond producers were looking to setup camp at the castle for a few days early next year to shoot some scenes believed to be taking place at Bond's 'ancestral home' but those plans have been scrapped. The filming was scheduled to take place in February with over 200 extras but some are reporting the huge media storm and interest that came with filming there has put them off. Skyfall is set to open next October in the UK and in early November in the U.S.
