10 Major Problems With 2018's Biggest Video Games

1. Red Dead Redemption 2 Has Had A Ton Of Behind-The-Scenes Problems

You can read all about Red Dead 2's entire list of leaks over here, but one of the most disastrous comes from Rockstar having a ton of trouble across Redemption 2's development. The story goes that Rockstar San Diego put together a number of 'versions' of what could be a Red Dead Redemption 2, only for the top brass to knock their pitches back for being "not innovative enough". This is apparently why the game was a no-show at E3, why we still don't have a release date despite two trailers - and why even within that second trailer, the general feeling was 'more of the same.'

Looking at the game's second trailer this is certainly quite apparent, as over time it looks like all facets of Rockstar eventually decided to release a more basic sequel, rather than something that upends expectations in a way the original did.

Time will tell how it all shakes out - and of course, even 'more Red Dead' will be f'ing awesome - but sadly RDR2 isn't the "all hands on deck" effort it perhaps could have been.
