FIFA 21: 8 Reasons To Give Career Mode A Chance

1. You Can Create Your Own Fun

This is something that's constantly forgotten by even the most seasoned of FIFA players.

It's possible to create your own fun in Career Mode, because EA's mode offers up more freedom than you might immediately think. Want to see how Scottish giants Rangers or Celtic would really do in the Premier League with oodles of cash? Have at it. Wonder what would happen if Man Utd were demoted to League Two with a stripped-back squad and hardly any dosh? Find out.

FIFA 21 doesn't quite let you go wild like Konami's PES does in Master League (that's a haven for creative types who prefer 'European Super Leagues' over traditional domestic formats), but there are some fantasies to play out. You can plop Barcelona, Messi and all, into the Prem - and that's just the start.

All of the new features, like simming options and player development, mean this is a bigger laugh than ever before. There's something special about sitting down with a mate, dreaming up all manner of co-op dreams and making them a (digital) reality.
