10 Barcelona Signings Who Completely Flopped At The Nou Camp

After being a key cog in the system employed by Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid, Turan made the move to La Liga rivals Barcelona in 2015.

His form in Madrid had earned him the right of a chance at one of the so-called giants of European football, so there was inevitably huge expectation on his shoulders when he arrived at the Nou Camp.

Turan's start with the club wasn't exactly ideal, as he had to wait some time before the club's transfer ban was up before making his debut. Once that debut did come against Espanyol, things didn't exactly get better for the Turkish star.

Despite a Champions League hat-trick to his name as a Barcelona player, Turan struggled massively to impose himself on a midfield full of quality, established players.

A loan move back to Turkey last season summed up where Barcelona see him in terms of their squad, while a recent conviction for discharging a fire-arm has done little to aid his cause or reputation.
