This series was akin to a heavyweight boxing match, both competitors trading thunderous blows until one was finally enough to vanquish the other. In doing so, the historic rivals delivered one of the most compelling finals series of all time. After stealing Game 2 in Los Angeles thanks to Ray Allen's 8 three pointers (setting a new record for the most in an NBA Finals game), Boston seemed to have gained the advantage with the series moving back to their home court. Instead, the next two games were also split on the back of impressive cameos from both teams' supporting cast. Derek Fisher rolled back the years to snatch Game 3 late on, while Nate Robinson and Glen 'Big Baby' Davis exploded off the bench to inspire their Celtics to a Game 4 victory. After sharing Games 5 and 6 as well, the series moved to a thrilling climax. Overcoming a double-digit lead in the second half, the Lakers clawed their way to victory. Surprisingly, the dagger came after an unselfish Kobe Bryant pass, setting up a three pointer from unlikely hero Ron Artest.
