10 Best NFL Quarterbacks Of All Time
3. Steve Young
Steve Young was perched behind Joe Montana as he dominated the league throughout the 80s, only occasionally getting onto the field to prove himself. This all changed when an elbow injury sidelined Montana going into the '91 season. Young would move to starter - and the rest is history.
While Young got off to a rocky start - he would go on to make the Pro-Bowl selection 7 times, led the league in completion 5 times. He also destroyed Super Bowl XXIX ('95), in what is widely regarded as one of the best championship performances in NFL history - 325 throwing yards, 49 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
