Borussia Dortmund took notice of Mkhitaryan's talents during his exploits with Shakhtar Donetsk and brought him to Signal Iduna Park in 2013, where he refined his skills further during three highly successful years.

He may have only won the DFL-Supercup in terms of silverware, but his numbers were simply prolific. In 140 games across all competitions, the Armenian astro scored 41 goals and assisted further 49 times including the league-high of 15 in his final season.

Highly versatile, technically gifted, accurate passer and dribbling maestro, he was the key which kept the Dortmund vanguard firing and also forged fearsome partnership with Marcos Reus and Aubameyang.

Mkhitaryan was also voted as Bundesliga Players' Player of the Year in 2016 and soon set sail with Manchester United after signing later that summer. He now finds himself at AS Roma after another short stint with Arsenal.
