Say what you like about David Luiz, the fact of the matter is that he has proved to be a massive success over in England.

Chelsea took a punt on him back in 2011, adding the Brazilian to the ranks right at the end of the deadline.

It proved an inspired move for the Blues. Despite Luiz's languid style and sometimes indecisive defensive play, he still helped the Londoners to an FA Cup, Champions League, and Europa League win in his first two seasons with the club.

After leaving for a short spell with PSG in France, he moved back to Chelsea once again in 2016. This time, he got his hands on the Premier League title while once again getting his hands on the Europa League trophy.

For all his potential mistakes and heart-stopping moments, Luiz has been a resounding success in the Premier League when you look at his trophy count.
