2. Scotcheggspress
Finished: 27th Getting close to the end now and some of the more zany contraptions, runner up in this list - and a sufferer of a bad crash early on similar to that of The Dumbusters, is Scotcheggspress. Basically a scotch egg on wheels, if you can't see from the picture, it seemed to have good speed and stability going down the hill from the palace itself. Everything went fine until it again hit the final ramp like many others, rolling over on landing it seemed it's curved top helped aid stability and should have saved the driver from injury. However, as a natural survival instinct, the driver put his hand out to avoid injury and unfortunately broke two of his fingers. That said he did managed to cross the finish line and in a good position as well considering what happened not even seconds before breaking the Tag Heuer timing beam.
