10 Biggest Failures In The Premier League This Season (So Far)

1. Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Eden Hazard's performances this season have been nowhere near the level that the Belgian demonstrated last season. He picked up the PFA Player of the Year award and was widely expected to pick up where he left off but it simply hasn't been the case.

His stunning fall from grace this term prompted Jose Mourinho to drop him from the starting line-up for the Champions League game against Porto.

Hazard has one goal and just two assists in 11 appearances for the club this season, a slump that has contributed to Chelsea's slide down the table, where they currently sit in 16th place. Aside from his lack of goals and assists his overall contribution seems to be a lot less effective and he doesn't seem to have the same impact on a match anymore. Mourinho will be hoping that his star man finds his form soon as it could change the Blues' season.
