2. Matt 'The Terror' Serra vs George 'Rush' St-Pierre, UFC 69
Result: Serra by TKO (punches) in 1st round. As you can see in the image above, no one was more stunned by the events which took place at UFC 69 than the effervescent Matt Serra. Serra earned his shot at the Welterweight championship after winning 'The Ultimate Fighter 4: The Comeback'. Something was immediately conspicuous about this match-up it pitted one of the most promising young champions George St-Pierre against a man who had found himself on 'TUF: The Comeback' due to a run of mediocrity in his fight career. It was easy to see why St-Pierre was heavily favoured by bookmakers. Serra surprised the Canadian by avoiding the implementation of his black belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as he had done repeatedly in TUF. It seemed clear that Serra knew his only chance was to catch St-Pierre with a big power shot and how right he proved to be. He caught St-Pierre with a ferocious right hook and in keeping with his nickname terrorised the champion, giving him no time for recovery and eventually forcing the technical knock out.
