10 Biggest Prospects On The ATP Tour
7. Andrey Rublev
The tennis world has been making a fuss of Andrey Rublev for quite a while now and although we don't feel that he merits the same excitement as others in this list, there is no doubting that he can become a star name in the sport over the next decade.
Despite being just 17, Rublev played 21 times on the ATP Tour in 2015, winning eight times. The experience was invaluable at that stage of his career and he earned some excellent victories over the likes of Pablo Carreno Busta, Fernando Verdasco and Marcel Granollers.
He has failed to build on that success in 2016 but he did break his duck on the Challenger Tour as he came through qualifying to win in Quimper. Beating hometown player Mathieu was a further feather in his cap but the Russian must now take that form back onto the main tour.
The 2014 French Open boys' champion has probably been a victim of his own talent and early success but providing he can manage the expectations, he will enjoy a productive career at the upper echelons of the sport.
His recent title has helped elevate him back up to world number 149, but if everything comes together, there should be little reason why he cannot move to the brink of the top 100 before his 19th birthday in October.
