10 Biggest Prospects On The ATP Tour
4. Taylor Fritz
He reached two Grand Slam boys' finals as a junior and he has already made the final of an ATP Tour event at just the third attempt so Taylor Fritz more than deserves fourth place in this list.
It has taken three exceptional talents to finish higher than him but Fritz could still go on to achieve greater success than those players - it is just dependent on how he handles his startling rise since the autumn of 2015.
Three Challenger triumphs saw him move over 400 places up the world rankings before he came through qualifying to reach the main draw of the Australian Open, eventually losing to American compatriot Jack Sock.
The 18-year-old bettered that by reaching the final of the Memphis Open, and he has since reached the last eight in Acapulco and gave David Ferrer a fright in the early rounds at the Miami Masters.
Failing to convert set points against Ferrer may prove to be a blessing in disguise, though. Fritz began October in 694th and he now ranks well inside the top 100. He is riding a crest of a wave but if he is to continue to be seen as one of the sport's biggest hopes, giving himself time to mature at the second tier may benefit him.
That said, how do you slow down a power-hitting teenager who is 6ft 4ins and is already able to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Ferrer and Nishikori?
