3. Steven Seagal
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93uyDLhTQYQ It's one thing when a celebrity is a UFC fan. It's another when he trains with them. Let me be clear: Seagal can be pretty full of himself. And we all thought it was a load of crap when he claimed to be teaching Anderson Silva moves. Still, Silva did thank him post-fight at UFC 126, for helping him "perfect" the kick that knocked out Vitor Belfort in a stunning victory. Apparently, Seagal has given demonstrations in Aikido to several UFC fighters. To be fair, Seagal was the first foreigner to run an Aikido dojo in Japan, lived there for quite some time, and the dojo he founded continues to run today. He has his seventh dan in Aikido. In other words, when it comes to martial arts, he's legit, even if he's generally crazy in other aspects. And just when everyone thought Silva's mention of Seagal's name was a publicity stunt, Lyoto Machida went and crane-kicked Randy Couture into retirement at UFC 129 in Toronto in 2011 - and he too thanked Seagal for helping him with the kick. Never before or since has a celebrity fan been so linked to actual events inside the octagon.
