4. Moise Kean - Everton

Similar to Joelinton, Italian striker Moise Kean arrived at Everton with a hefty price tag and was labelled by many in the media as one to watch for the upcoming campaign.

Kean was only 19, but had arrived from Juventus with a good reputation as a pacey and clinical forward with a bright future.

On top of that, Everton looked as though they were in desperate need of someone to play up top. At this point Richarlison wasn’t considered a reliable out-and-out striker, often looking more comfortable cutting in from wide positions, and while many admired Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s work rate, there were questions about whether he was prolific enough to lead the line.

Cenk Tosun had failed to make an impact since signing and was loaned out to Crystal Palace and Oumar Niasse was not considered a serious contender either.

So surely the new signing Moise Kean could come in and make the spot his own, playing in a side that looked capable of having a good season?

As mentioned earlier though, Everton were generally pretty toothless under Marco Silva, and Moise Kean failed to break into the starting XI.

Despite being priced at £7m at the start of the FPL season, the young striker made just six starts all year, scoring two goals and laying on two assists for a total of 53 points.

One for the future he may be, but it would be a big surprise if Kean’s price isn’t significantly lower when FPL relaunches.
