10 Candidates For The PFA Young Player Of The Year Award

9. Adnan Januzaj

In a season which optimistic Manchester United fans will call a period of transition, and realistic Manchester United fans will call a disaster, one major positive to emerge from the wreckage is Adnan Januzaj. Used sparingly by Moyes at first, Januzaj quickly showed why he was rated so highly by Manchester United coaching staff, showing great skill and technique on the ball as well as being comfortable using both feet. These performances are even more impressive when considering that this is Januzaj's first season playing for the senior team, where he has shown the maturity of a much more experienced player. Verdict Moyes has sensibly not rushed Januzaj into the first team, using him sparingly and as an impact sub. While this treatment will benefit his career, it will also mean that he is unlikely to win the award this year
