10 Copa America Players Newcastle Could Realistically Target

2. Abel Hernandez (Uruguay)

Age: 24 Position: Forward Club: Hull City International Caps (Goals): 18 (9) Estimated Market Value: £6-10 million Already linked with a move to Newcastle this summer, Hull City striker Abel Hernandez hardly shone during his first year in English football but his pace and height could add an extra dimension to the Magpies' game. With nine goals in just 18 Uruguay caps, Hernandez undoubtedly has talent and he was included in his nation's squad for the 2014 World Cup. A return of 36 goals from 122 games during five-and-a-half years at Palermo in Italy prompted Hull to pay £10 million for Hernandez's services last summer. However, just four goals in 26 appearances followed and the relegated Tigers could look to cash in on the 24-year-old forward - although they would look to recoup somewhere between £6-£10 million for his services.
