10 Deadliest Strike Partnerships In Premier League History
4. Mohamed Salah And Sadio Mane
Mohamed Salah has been a different beast ever since he returned to the Premier League shores with Liverpool. After the record-setting 32 goals in his debut campaign, the Egyptian ace banged in another 22 in 2018/19 as the Reds lost out on the league title by a whisker.
However, he was ably complimented in the vanguard by Sadio Mane, who delivered his career-best performances that same season and registered an identical tally of goals in the league.
The Reds relied heavily on these African astros for the goods, who took apart defences with consummate ease and together, accrued 44 out of Liverpool's 89 league goals.
Neither Salah nor Mane was adjudged as PFA's Player of the Year despite their heroics, but they shared the Golden Boot for finishing jointly atop the scoring charts and also secured well-deserved spots in PFA's Team of the Year.
