4. Saido Berahino
Mike Egerton/EMPICS SportA product of the West Bromwich Albion youth system, Burundi born Saido Berahino is a quick attacker that has shown an ability to score. Despite being only 20 years old, he has proven that he can have a big impact on games at a Premier League level. He made over 25 appearances last season for The Baggies and scored 5 goals, including a wonderful strike against Manchester United. He has featured for England at all levels from Under 16 to Under 21, but is yet to turn out for the senior side. With players like Raheem Sterling and Ross Barkley being given opportunities, it seems likely that he will be making that same transition himself soon if he continues to play well for West Brom. Berahino has attracted the interest of Newcastle United, among other Premier League clubs. Perhaps a move could help him, provided it was the right club. He will need regular game time if he is to achieve his full potential. The promise he shows is mainly in terms of pace and attacking endeavor. If he can work on his vision and awareness, he could become a real contender for an England jersey going forward. He seems to be one of those players who could go either way. It will be interesting to see how he progresses.
