The latest noises coming out of Old Trafford suggest that Jose Mourinho is beginning to grow frustrated at his side's lack of transfer activity, and with precious few days remaining until they head off on their pre-season excursions, the Man Utd manager's priority is to bring in a centre-forward capable of replacing the outgoing Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Alvaro Morata, who last year helped Real Madrid win the Champions League after returning from a two-year stint in Italy with Juventus, is somewhere near the top of the list, and whilst he is behind Karim Benzema in the Bernebeu pecking order, United have reportedly been quoted a price of around £70 million.

That could go up, though, if the Galacticos catch wind of United's jittery manager putting pressure on chief executive Ed Woodward.
