A dependable talent during the 2000s, Bobby Zamora was a versatile striker with an eye for goal and a knack for being in the right place at the right time. A Premier League mainstay for nearly a decade, Zamora's crowning achievement would come outside of the English top-flight when he scored the decisive goal in the final minute of the 2014 Play-Off Final.

However, despite enjoying a distinguished career that even saw him represent his country, Zamora was honest about his indifferent attitude to the game outside of his working hours.

In a 2012 interview, Zamora admitted that he has no interest in watching the sport on TV, and that many of his contemporaries feel the same way but choose not to speak about it for fear of fan backlash. Since retiring in 2016, the former Brighton star has perhaps unsurprisingly gone on to to pursue interests outside of the sport.
