10 Forgotten Men Who Desperately Need To Move Before September

6. Sebastian Coates

Plenty was expected of Coates upon his arrival to Liverpool back in 2011, with the 6ft 5inch defender certainly having the height required to make himself a presence in the Premier League in the future. However, a combined 12 appearances for the first team ultimately points towards the Uruguay international being a rather large flop on Merseyside. A loan spell back to his native club of Nacional in Montevideo last season perhaps suggests that the 23-year-old will be heading back to familiar pastures sooner rather than later, with first-team football required for the central defender to retain his place in the Uruguay national team. The signing of Dejan Lovren has further reinforced that Coates won't be in Brendan Rodgers' plans for the foreseeable future, with it probably best for both the Reds and the player to part company in order for him to salvage his international career before it's too late.
