10 Former Players Birmingham City Could Do With Now

6. Scott Sinclair

Just what has happened to Scott Sinclair€™s career? Two years ago, he was tipped as one of the country€™s hottest young prospects, having emerged as Swansea City€™s stand-out performer as they soared into the top-flight. With 36 goals in 91 games for the Welsh side, the 23 year old winger looked to have a promising future - then he signed for Manchester City and it all went down the gutter. He has since made 14 appearances for the first-team and endured a pitiful eight-game loan spell at West Brom. However, the former Chelsea winger is still only 25 years old - there is still plenty of time for him to turn it around. It was five years ago that Sinclair spent the second half of the 08/09 season on loan at Birmingham City where he played 14 games for the club. Perhaps a stint in the Championship could revive a stagnating career?
