10 Greatest Submissions In UFC History

2. Chan Sung Jung vs Leonard Garcia €“ Ultimate Fight Night: Nogueira vs Davis

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fk2J8_M094g Result: Jung defeated Garcia via submission (twister) at 4:59 of round 2 Chan Sung Jung is better known as the Korean Zombie. This useful nickname comes from his ability to keep pushing forward and be the aggressor in fights despite being hit by heavy blows which would make any ordinary fighter back away. It€™s also easier than saying Chan Sung Jung numerous times. At Ultimate Fight Night 24 the Korean Zombie faced Leonard Garcia in a rematch of their fight from WEC 48 which ended in a controversial split decision win for Garcia. After feeling the wrath of €˜leaving it in the hands of the judges€™ before, the Korean Zombie was looking for a finish. In the second round, the action was grippingly back-and-forth until the Korean Zombie managed to take Garcia€™s back in what looked like a rear naked choke attempt. He then lost one of his underhooks and it looked like the submission attempt had failed. Korean Zombie then pulled out all the stops and manipulated Garcia€™s body in ways that just aren€™t pretty to look at. Garcia tapped with one second left in the round. In all honesty, barely anyone knew what just happened but it was pretty incredible. It is remarkable that something can appear so disgusting yet so sublime at the same time. The extremely rare submission, known as the €˜Twister€™, earned Jung Submission of the Night honours along with the 2011 Submission of the Year
