He only left for Hull City at the beginning of the 2013 season and, although he has always been loyal wherever he has played his football, you can't help but feel he would not be overly upset if the Tigers went down and the Magpies stayed up. He barely moved for any of them - so maybe he is the secret agent Newcastle so desperately need right now. Newcastle are unlikely to find a win for themselves, but maybe Harper will allow Manchester United an easy ride at the KC Stadium on Sunday...
