10 Hardest Players In English Premier League History

3. Vinnie Jones

Vinnie Jones was the core processing unit of AFC Wimbledon's "Crazy Gang" as they were very appropriately named during their Premier League tenure. He's also a man whose current reputation is probably adherent more today to his problematic acting skills over everything else, but before he was ramming through walls as the Juggernaut on a Hollywood set, Jones was known to past generations for steamrolling the players of the Premier League time and time again. The man's nickname was the axe for crying out loud. If that doesn't spell out dangerous lunatic than I'm not particularly sure what can.

Let's take a look at the rap sheet he's built for himself over the years. He was known for an unmatched amount of two-footed lunges; probably setting an unprecedented record that no-one would anticipate being broken. He genuinely still holds a record for the quickest yellow card in Premier League history. He managed to have the balls to wipe out an ex-convict mentioned earlier in this list and he even physically clamped the actual balls of one Paul Gascoigne simply in order to obstruct his movement.

The most surprising element of Jones' uniquely aggressive style of playing the working man's game is the fact that he was amazingly never awarded a straight red card, rendering him only a contender for the top spot. Instead he's left in the bronze spot.
