7. Manchester City 6-0 Spurs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9xWqvOZx04 Date: Sunday the 24th of November, 2013. Venue: The Etihad. There's no shame in losing to Manchester City these days - not even by relatively big margins. The club have near-unlimited funds and should really be winning everything every year - but 6-0 defeats aren't something Spurs are used to. The manner in which this romp started was most heartbreaking; nice guy goalkeeper Hugo Lloris made a mistake that led to a goal by Jesus Navas after just fourteen seconds and it all went downhill from there. Moreover, fan-favourite Sandro scored an own goal, while another from Navas, two from Sergio Aguero and an Alvaro Negredo goal completed the rout. In Andre Villas-Boas' words "everything went wrong" and it was Spurs' second-biggest defeat in Premier League history - it surely was a major factor in his sacking.
