Another one of the greats is Anderson Silva. From 2006 to 2012 he was about as dominant a champion we've ever seen in the UFC. This title reign saw him defeat the likes of Chael Sonnen and Vitor Belfort.

This six-year run is undoubtedly where Silva made most of his $8,000,00. He is also one of a few fighters to have previously had a Nike sponsorship, which only adds to the $8,112,000 that doesn't include sponsorships.

Although Silva continued to fight after he lost the title to Chris Weidman, he has struggled. In fact, he has only won once in his last seven fights, a far cry from the once-great champion he was.

Don't be surprised to see The Spider retire soon and become an analyst.
