1. Chris Weidman (C)
John Locher/AP/Press Association ImagesChris Weidman took in a disclosed $450,000 at UFC 175. That figure includes a $225,000 win bonus. It does not include his Fight of the Night Bonus, which brings his total take to $500,000 - a cool half million for his five-round unanimous decision win over Lyoto Machida. It was a solid fight, and a strong effort from Weidman. He showed heart, but perhaps exposed a weakness or two in his game. Either way, he's no longer a "fluke" champion, and he's much richer for it. In comparison to his last fight, it's a small bump. Many fighters have tiered UFC contracts that give them pay raises if they keep winning, and that's the case here. Weidman saw $400,000 at UFC 168 ($200,000 to show, and that again to win). However, if you go back to the fight before he won the belt from Anderson Silva, a UFC on Fuel TV event, Weidman made just $44,000 - and that included his win bonus. Weidman has come a long way, in other words.
