Dustin "Diamond" Poirier was paid $34,000 to be the next victim of Conor McGregor's hype train - which is maybe not just a hype train any longer. The 5th ranked fighter in the division heading into UFC 178, Poirier was anything but an easy out for the Irish superstar, but McGregor made short work of him nonetheless. Poirier now drops to seventh in the division, usurped by the man who got into his head with a large amount of trash talk leading into the fight.
