Tim Kennedy actually made more in defeat than the mad who beat him, and as mentioned, you have to feel for the guy. He had Romero out on his feet at the end of the second; Romero was blatantly saved by the bell, then blatantly stalled at the start of the third round to have more time to recover. Romero was boo'd, Kennedy was pissed, but if it helps, he was paid $70,000 to lose to Romero in a controversial TKO loss. Maybe the extra $50,000 from the Fight of the Night bonus will help lift the American fighter's spirits a bit.
