Nick and Nate Diaz are sharing a spot here. Why? It's probably only one or the other that will fight this year. Cited as some of the most difficult fighters to deal with by UFC President Dana White, either would be a huge boost for the UFC.

Nate Diaz hasn't been seen since losing a majority decision to Conor McGregor at UFC 202. That turned out to be the best selling UFC PPV in history, and the younger Diaz left with a two million dollar purse, and the realization that he was probably worth a lot more than that. Nate's now claiming he'll only fight for twenty million, though the reality is he'd probably come back for far less. He became a star thanks to his grudge match with McGregor, and is currently doing promotion for the movie Fist Fight, so it's not as if he hasn't been keeping busy.

Older brother Nick, meanwhile, hasn't fought since a bout against Anderson Silva at UFC 183 in 2015. While he lost on the judge's scorecards that night, both he and SIlva failed drug tests, and the result was overturned to a No Contest. Diaz, who tested positive for marijuana for the billionth time, managed to reduce his initial five year suspension to eighteen months after a huge public outcry, and was fined $100,000. Having done his time and paid his fine, he could be back - put per White, he's turned down two fights so far.

Expect at least one Diaz back later this year. It's more likely to be Nick, as he's been gone longer and may be feeling the itch.
