Back in 2012, Juventus midfielder Pogba was the subject of heavy transfer interest from several of Europe's elite clubs. Mega-rich Paris Saint-Germain had coveted the French international for some time, and were publically courting his affections.

Juventus, however, had no intention of selling their prized asset, and made him the highest-paid player at the club. 'The Old lady of Turin' also placed a clause in Pogba's contract stating that teams must pay almost £55 million to get his services.

The clause also had another very special condition. PSG would have to pay an extra £8 million for the enigmatic French Midfielder. Pogba, whose form at Juventus remains to date the best of his career, resisted the French club's overtures, remaining at Juventus for another four seasons.
