10 Lengthiest Bans In Newcastle United History
7. Papiss Cisse - 7 Games

After Jonny Evans upended Newcastle's Papiss Cisse during MUFC's 1-0 win at St James' Park, TV footage showed the Manchester United man spitting down towards the floor in the direction of his opponent. Wether he meant it to land on the Senegalese is anyones guess.
Cisse reacted by putting his head towards Evans and seemingly spitting back at him, although it is not clear if it landed on the Northern Ireland international.
The pair were charged by The FA, and despite Cisse apologising for his part in the fracas, he was handed a six game ban with another game added thanks to an altercation with Everton's Sheamus Coleman in December, 2014.
Amazingly, in the face of conclusive TV evidence, Evans denied spitting at The Magpie's number nine.
As we write this the centre back hasn't responded, but when he does, he should be slapped with a far longer ban.
