10 Major Football Transfers That Could Still Happen This Summer

7. Marcelo - Real Madrid To Juventus

Attacking left-back Marcelo has been at Real Madrid for a lengthy 12 years by this point - having signed for the club back in 2007 - and he could be another Los Blancos star who's on the move before the current transfer window closes.

At 31 years of age, the Brazil international has a wealth of experience to offer any potential suitors. Not only is his attacking play all kinds of fun to watch, but Marcelo's style is an effective won that's helped Real Madrid to four Champions Leagues and four La Liga titles during his stay at the Bernabeu.

If reports are to be believed, Juventus have a long-standing interest in bringing the player to Serie A - with Marcelo open to the idea of teaming up once more with Cristiano Ronaldo.

One clear stumbling block to that possible move, of course, is that Juventus already have an attacking Brazilian left-back in the shape of Alex Sandro. Then again, that's also the same Alex Sandro who has been linked with a move away from The Old Lady.
