10 Most Memorable Spurs Wins In The Premier League

7. Manchester United 1-2 Spurs

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKjOMUSB9wU Date: Wednesday the 1st of January, 2014. Venue: Old Trafford. Scorers: Adebayor, Eriksen. Why was it memorable? Having previously gone 23 years without a win at Old Trafford, Spurs recorded their second victory in succession there on New Year's Day of 2014 - a match which extended then new manager Tim Sherwood's unbeaten league start to four games. Emmanuel Adebayor and Christian Eriksen gave Spurs a 2-0 lead, but Danny Welbeck pulled one back for United just a minute after Eriksen scored Spurs' second, meaning Spurs had to hold on to a one-goal lead for 23 minutes - plus a painstaking additional six minutes of stoppage time.
