Quintin "Rampage" Jackson shocked the world when he terminated his Bellator MMA contract due to unfulfilled clauses that had not been remedied by the company within the 45 day period allotted. A return to the UFC was something he had hinted at, and he had been unhappy with Bellator since founder Bjorn Rebney had been terminated over the Summer, but few expected it to happen. Well, it has. That puts the UFC and Jackson in an interesting position. In Bellator, he had a shot at winning gold, and was already on a three-fight win streak. However, he had no desire to fight Emanuel Newton, a man he shared a coach with. There was the option of Tito Ortiz and Stephan Bonnar, both of whom would draw big ratings against Rampage, but now that he's back in the UFC, who is there for him? Rampage is unlikely to earn another crack at Jon Jones and is in the twilight of his career. He still draws, however, and name value means a lot in MMA. Who could he match up against? Dan Henderson's name has been thrown around, but he has a fight book. Another option would be Shogun Rua. The two Pride legends have never fought, and like Jackson, Rua is in the twilight of his career.
