7. Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm
Finding opponents for Ronda Rousey is a lot like finding bull fighters in Alaska. There aren't a lot of options, and even fewer are actually on top calibre. With all due respect to the women's bantamweight division, which is developing nicely, Rousey is just on another level - because just as the division develops, so does she, and she has improved her striking leaps and bounds since entering the UFC. Holly Holm is one of those opponents who is top calibre. At least we think she is. Outside the UFC, she's a perfect 7-0. She's a pro boxing champ with over 30 wins in multiple weight classes. She has the potential to be a bona fide star in the UFC - she just needs to fight! Holm pulled out of her debut fight in December due to injury, and that was after returning from another injury suffered in her last fight outside the UFC, a broken hand. However, good news is on the horizon: she meets Raquel Pennington at UFC 184 in February. If she wins that bout convincingly, expect her to jump right into a title shot. Rousey has already said she'd take the fight.
