Doug Henry made a huge mistake, flying almost all the way to the corner after the now aptly named Henry Hill, breaking his back. He reportedly slipped back on the seat on the way up the hill, grabbing a handful of throttle in the process, launching him into the air only to come crashing down to the flat some five stories below. It seemed as if the crash may have prematurely ended his career. However, after various surgeries, Henry made a comeback only eight months later. A cage was inserted to support his damaged vertebrae. Sadly it would be a crash that would later end his career. In a Supermoto race in 2007 Henry once again broke his back, resulting in Paralysis.
