Like Benetton, Red Bull entered Formula One as a sponsor, before purchasing their own team. Like many on this list, it took Red Bull time to integrate into Formula One, being a sporadically competitive but not race winning. When aerodynamics guru Adrian Newey came on board, all that changed.

With Adrian Newey, Renault engines, and Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull dominated the sport. They won all their Championships back-to-back from 2010 to 2013, with Sebastian Vettel winning four drivers titles.

Unlike the team they pipped on this list, Mercedes, Red Bull, and in particular engine supplier Renault, did not adapt very well to the hybrid engine rule changes, and as such, have struggled for form since 2014.

Winning races inconsistently since 2014, the team has entered a new era, with Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber being replaced with young drivers, Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen. Both race winners, and with the backing of the energy drinks company, Red Bull could still find themselves catapulting up this list.

Constructors' Championships: 4

Wins: 52
