Listed as Newcastle United's "fourth-captain", Moussa Sissoko has failed to act like it in recent months - and the two bookings that led to his dismissal at Liverpool (the second of which could easily have been a straight red) smacked of someone who has let petulance get the better of him. Just three goals and three assists in 33 Premier League matches is not good enough for an attacking-midfielder who believes he should be playing in the Champions League - and that is precisely the reason why he won't in the near future.
