10 NFL Players Who Are Having Surprisingly Great Seasons

Damn, I don’t think you can have a worse falling from grace in a single season than Andrew Luck’s 2015 campaign. He went from the savior of Indianapolis to being the problem in a span of three months.

Luck was injured for most of 2015, playing in only 7 games. In those 7 games he posted his worst completion percentage since his rookie year in 2012 and posted his lowest ESPN Total QBR of his career. During the offseason many experts were wondering if Luck would ever turn into the saviour that Indianapolis was promised when they took him 1st overall four years ago.

The season started poorly with back-to-back losses to Detroit and Denver, but then the Colts started to turn it around. They are only 4-3 over the last seven games, but it’s now clear that the problem with Indianapolis is not its star quarterback. He’s currently ranked 9th in ESPN’s Total QBR with a grade 68.6, he’s tied for 5th in passing touchdowns with 17 and is 7th in passing yards per game with 285 yards.

There is still a good chance that Indianapolis still doesn’t make the playoffs, even with them playing in the AFC South. If they don’t make it, then this offseason the team will have to find someone else to blame for their shortcomings.
