1. Tom Brady - New York Jets And Every Other Team In The League
The story of Tom Brady's Draft Day will never cease to be spectacular. Every single team in the league passed - numerous times - on the young quarterback who went on to become a four-time Super Bowl champion. He fell down to the sixth round and went to the New England Patriots as the 199th pick, though that could've been very different had the Jets' top brass listened to veteran scout, Jesse Kaye, who pleaded with GM Bill Parcells to take Brady. Kaye's numerous attempts to persuade Parcells failed, and he reportedly came close to leaping on top of a table to make his voice heard. Despite his best efforts, Kaye's advice went unheeded, and Brady went on to become one of the all-time greatest NFL players in history, while the Jets have suffered miserably of late, boasting Geno Smith, Mark Sanchez and Michael Vick among their most recent quarterback disasters.
