After losing the NFC North for the first time since 2010, it would be easy to see the Packers as a team on the decline. The NFC North is one of the toughest divisions in the country and it would be easy to see the 2016 season as one of struggle for Green Bay. Such an observation would be harsh, however. The Packers had the hardest strength of schedule of any NFC team which reached the playoffs, yet still managed to go 10-6. Wins against the Vikings and Seahawks show that the Packers are still one of the greatest teams in the league and it could be argued that if it were not for injuries the Packers would have performed even better. Even the injury hit team of 2015 managed to take the Cardinals to overtime in the Divisional Round of the NFC playoffs. When fit, the Packers have one of the greatest all-around teams in the NFL and it would not take much improvement in the offseason for the Packers to make another deep playoff run next year.
