10. Luis Suarez - Ten And Eight Games
Peter Byrne/PA Archive/Press Association ImagesBefore the shocking biting incident at the World Cup with Uruguay, as we all know, Luis Suarez has previous with football and disciplinary panels. He was slapped with a seven-match ban back in 2010 after he showed his teeth for the first time, biting an opponent while still playing for Dutch side Ajax. Amazingly, he was captain of the club at that point - hardly much of an example to set. And then, when he made his move to Liverpool in January of 2011 (just two months after he bit for the first time), his controversial incident list got bigger and bigger. First, he racially abused Manchester United's Patrice Evra and then refused to shake his hand soon after. For the racial abuse, he was slapped with an eight-match ban from the FA, but that wasn't the only incident of note Suarez had with a Premier League opponent, as in April 2013, Branislav Ivanovic became the second player to feel the cold, hard edge of Suarez's teeth. This time the FA took a more serious stance, and imposed a ten-match ban, which put him off from biting forever. Or just until the World Cup this year at least...
